A family run, Central Otago vineyard aiming for a closed system in which all inputs come off its own land and are recycled back after the wine is made, so the only additional input is water. This estate employs a holistic approach that integrates crop and livestock farming to vineyard management.

We are thrilled to introduce our esteemed guest speaker, Anna Nelson, Chair of Silver Fern Farms Co-operative. Along with her husband Blair (Munta) and their family, Anna operates a 1450-hectare sheep and beef breeding and finishing farm in Aria, King Country. Originally from Cheviot, Anna holds a Veterinary degree from Massey University. She currently serves as a catchment coordinator at King Country River Care and completed the Kellogg Rural Leaders programme in 2016.
