What are the opportunities and pitfalls for farmers in the
emerging carbon economy and what can we expect
from regulated and unregulated markets?

This is the key theme that will be explored during the session The Emerging Carbon Economy at the Digital Agrifood Summit 2022 on 1-2 June.

Skye Glenday, chief executive of Climate Friendly, an organisation supporting rural, regional and remote Australians to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and regenerate the landscape through carbon farming, will deliver the keynote presentation.

Following that, Skye will join a panel of expert speakers to explore the ideas and themes in further detail. The panel consists of:

  • Naomi Wilson, Head of Environment and Sustainability, AACo
  • Dr Rob Waterworth, Co-Founder & CEO, Mullion Group, FLINTpro
  • Guy Webb, Co-Founder & Managing Director, SoilCQuest

Moderated by:

  • Dr Madeline Mitchell, Science Lead, Carbon & Natural Capital, Food Agility
