A New Chapter with our Executive Council
We are excited to announce the formation of our new Executive Council (EC), bringing together a dynamic team committed to driving our vision forward. Our four new EC members, Chelsea, Elliot, Tammy and Jono, have already made their mark during our first strategy day at Donald’s Farm. It was a productive day where we confirmed our priorities for the remainder of the year and beyond.
We are particularly grateful for the incredible level of Member engagement in the recent election process. With 15 nominations for three elected seats (and one replacement), and a very high voter turnout, your active participation underscores the collective commitment to our mission.
Looking ahead, we will continue our focus on data enablement, fostering international partnerships, and championing collaborative practices within the sector. As part of our efforts to support international partnerships, I am currently in Europe facilitating work with our partners in Ireland, the United Kingdom (UK) and the Netherlands. During the next six months, we’re hosting a series of Global Agritech Exchange webinars, connecting thought leaders and innovators worldwide. We are also excited to welcome inbound groups from the UK and the Netherlands in November, further strengthening our global ties.
Together, with your continued support, we are confident in our ability to make a meaningful impact in our industry. Thank you for being an integral part of our journey and in recognition of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2024, I’d like to end with a whakataukī.
