We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for election to the AgriTech New Zealand Executive Council.
New Zealand’s agritech sector continues to grow in importance and influence, creating significant opportunities for our members and the wider primary sector. As expectations of both the sector and our members continue to increase, AgriTechNZ remains focused on delivering meaningful member value and concentrating effort where it can make the greatest contribution.
Our current priorities include improving our ability to measure and demonstrate the value of New Zealand’s agritech sector, supporting greater technology adoption, and enabling stronger alignment across the wider ecosystem.
To continue building on our success, it is critical to have the drive and support of a purposeful Executive Council and we are now seeking nominations for our upcoming elections. We are seeking nominees who can bring strategic thinking, sector insight and leadership perspective, and who are committed to helping advance both AgriTechNZ and the wider agritech sector.
Executive Council membership is a voluntary role that requires active participation, thoughtful contribution, and a commitment to supporting the wider membership and sector.
The Executive Council’s Terms of Reference is linked here. It outlines the role, responsibilities and expectations of Executive Council members.
We encourage nominations from across our membership and look forward to receiving your nomination.

Brenna Townshend
