June 23-24\, 2026. \n\n\nThe 2026 Salinas Biological Summit is slated to be the largest and most encompassing to-date. \nCoinciding with the 100th anniversary of Western Growers\, the Summit will bring together stakeholders from around the world\, keen to support growers transition to a biological future. Emerging scientific discovery is transforming the AgChem landscape. In June\, we will be bringing these discoveries to Salinas to showcase just how far the biological sector has come. \nWith Platform10’s California field trials already underway\, there will be the opportunity to meet the growers and biopesticide companies looking to address some of the industry’s key pest and disease challenges. The 2026 Summit will feature a Start-up Zone\, optional field visits and as ever\, a strong line-up of local and international speakers and experts. \nPlanning is underway. We will be updating the site regularly as the Summit Program develops.

DESCRIPTION:The New Zealand Organising Committee will be doing its utmost to ensure that World Dairy Summit in 2026\, the third WDS to be held in New Zealand\, will be as informative\, stimulating and inspiring as the previous summits hosted in 2001 and 2010. In doing so our aim is to both explore the bigger picture and the role played by the IDF. \nIn addition\, we will bring a local New Zealand style to the Summit and include technical visits to farming enterprises\, manufacturing facilities and research facilities where attendees will experience how and why the dairy sector is such an important asset to the country. \nThere will be a wide range of diverse industries present\, both local and global\, recognising the vital part they play in supporting the global dairy industry. \nAn extensive social programme will feature the fine wines and food of New Zealand to complement the milk bar and offer visits to destinations that we believe are unsurpassed in the world. \nWe are sure you will experience an unforgettable and enjoyable IDF World Dairy Summit in New Zealand that will justify the “must attend” challenge.

SUMMARY:South Island Agricultural Field Days 2027
DESCRIPTION:AIMS OF THE SOUTH ISLAND AGRICULTURAL FIELD DAYS. \n\nTo provide a venue where machinery and other services can be demonstrated to the rural community.\nTo provide a vehicle for senior YFC members of the Christchurch District to acquire\, in a practical way\, organisational and business skills.\n\nOBJECTIVES OF THE SOUTH ISLAND AGRICULTURAL FIELD DAYS. \n\nTo organise a professional exhibition that is an interface between the agricultural service industry and its clients.\nTo provide satisfaction to both parties in order to get return business.\n\nThe SIAFD is a story of success. It has been the result of hard work by young farmers since 1951. About 175 members have served on the organising committee and several hundred others have worked during the field days providing the hands on approach needed to prepare for and run successful events. \nThe co-operation of the machinery firms has been vital to the success as has the response from landowners when asked to supply a site. \nThe South Island Agricultural Field Day (SIAFD) is a non-profit organisation and the committee organises an exhibition for the rural community every second year.
