January often brings renewed intentions and always sees a spike in new gym memberships. Fitness remains a top resolution and local gyms offer access to a wide variety of exercise equipment and services. We’re also keen to support members to gain the most from our services and we’re kicking off 2021 with opportunities to work on our collaborative fitness. The agritech ecosystem in New Zealand has many interlinked interests, so working on our capacity to achieve sector improvements together will require a conscious effort.
Next month, we will be travelling around Aotearoa to create opportunities to engage with the Agritech Industry Transformation Plan (ITP) and its active projects. These are great sessions to revisit the initial plan, review progress to date and discuss the next phases of work. They also provide excellent networking opportunities to connect with like minded folk in our agritech ecosystem. Late last year, we had important issues raised in our sessions in Auckland and Christchurch and we look forward to continued engagement. View the full details and register here.
Meanwhile, we continue to build global alliances and access to opportunities overseas. This month we will co-host an online session with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) highlighting opportunities for agritech in Ireland. Register for Unlocking Agribusiness Opportunities in Ireland on 27 January. We will keep you updated as we link with other markets and opportunities too.
Unbelievably, March is just around the corner, so make sure you book your place at MobileTECH Ag 2021 and connect with others to discuss technology and industry issues. Please message us for an exclusive AgriTechNZ members discount code.
We look forward to supporting you this year and remain confident that collective actions will accelerate the growth of our shared sector.
