I’m incredibly excited by this new event being hosted at the 2020 evokeAG conference in Melbourne next February.
We had our first evokeAG 2020 steering committee meeting last week and introduced some new elements to the Startup Program. The Investment Pitch is one of these.
This is a standalone event on Monday, 17 February 2020, aiming to facilitate curated conversations and connections between international and local investors, together with selected Australia and New Zealand companies.
Up to six startups will receive the opportunity to pitch on stage to an invitation-only audience of international and domestic investors, followed by an intimate dinner and drinks where more discussions and networking can take place. Successful participants will receive one evokeAG. two-day delegate ticket.
To be eligible to enter, you need to be;
- Startups applying must be showcasing interesting and cutting edge technology relating to the agrifood industry
- Must be a registered business in Australia, New Zealand or the Pacific Islands
- Applicants must be able to showcase business success to date; and must have a product/service ready for investment
Applications opened on Monday and close on Friday 13 September. Successful participants to the Investment Pitch will be advised on Wednesday 30 October.
