Sharing our Agritech story

It’s great to be on the road again taking the Agritech New Zealand story throughout the country.

Yesterday, we held our first roadshow event in Palmerston North.  Many thanks to our hosts, BCC and the Sprout Accelerator for helping us kick off this exciting series of regional events.

The roadshow provides a valuable opportunity to share information about how accessing connected capital has become a bit easier for early stage companies.  We spoke about the benefits that Farm2050 first ‘Country Partner’ status offers the New Zealand agritech sector.  We  also focused on some of the emerging opportunities that will assist New Zealand agribusinesses scale offshore.

Our strategic partnerships are full of possibilities and we have begun discussions on maximising the potential.  New Zealand could become the global hub for the R&D of advanced robotics, automation and sensing technologies to benefit the primary sector globally.  Our strategic partnership with Western Growers is helping drive this opportunity. These emerging technologies will increase the production of high value, premium products in more environmentally sustainable ways.  It’s a story we want to share with you.

It’s not too late to learn more and register for a free ticket to attend one of this year’s roadshow events.  Reserve a seat now, it’s easy and will take less than a minute.   Join us on Friday in Wellington, 15 October in Nelson, 16 October in Lincoln, 19 October in Dunedin, 23 October in Hamilton, 24 October in Auckland and 25 October in Tauranga.

Ngā mihi
