Meet Agritech New Zealand at Fieldays

With only two days to go, we’re busy finalising our diaries for what is a great back to back programme of events at National Fieldays 2018. It’s looking like 4 days of awesome!

Whilst we have already diarised a number of 1-2-1 meetings with individuals, companies and offshore delegations, there are some stand-out events that we will be attending. These include the four Agritech Business Seminar Series talks set up by NZTE, Callaghan Innovation, MPI & Treasury. Each is being hosted at the on-site International Business Centre. You must register for tickets online to attend. You can reserve your seat here: https://www.nzte.govt.nz/fieldays2018

The sessions include:

Brexit: A new era for partnership
Thursday 14 June, 10:00am-11:00am

Where to next? An overview of top agritech markets

Thursday 14 June, 3:30pm-4:30pm

Driving Bigger, Better, Faster Sales

Friday 15 June, 8:30am-9:30am

On-farm environmental technology: Latest trends and products

Friday 15 June, 11:00am-12:00pm

On Thursday at 5.00pm, you will find us at the Innovation Capital Showcase which is being held inside the Fieldays Innovation Centre. We’ve attended this event for the past two years. It’s a showcase of 30+ early stage Kiwi agritech businesses looking to create new value for farmers in New Zealand and export sales to the rest of the world.

One of the many great things about Fieldays is that it is a once a year opportunity to meet and engage with top agritech players from both New Zealand and around the world. This year, over 40 overseas delegations will be onsite at Mystery Creek. Agritech New Zealand has organised meetings with many of them to share the New Zealand agritech story and to begin to develop longer-term channels for mutual collaboration.

48 hours to go. We hope to see you there!
